Yes, on this day in 1867, the United States government actually did something smart for a change. It bought and took control of that North American Russian territory for about 12 dollars per square mile. That was damn cheap, even then. That brought us more geopolitical dominance and vastly more natural resources. Our 49th state is usually quite cold, like Korean winters. And as winter approaches here in Seoul, we need to take cover under the familiar overpass in Samgakji.

Your GM (Grand Master or General Moron, take your pick) will lay out a trail on very familiar ground. It might not be new or exciting, but it is convenient and centrally located, with plentiful access to food and booze.
